About Dr. Anitha Chakravarthy Sriram
Dr. Anitha Chakravarthy Sriram is a Medical Professional and practicing Pathologist based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. She was born and brought up in Bangalore. Born into a traditional Hindu family, as soon as she attained an aptitude of understanding, her mother began reciting mythology from the great epics of Ramayana and Mahabharatha. Since, her childhood began in such a cultural background, she soon developed great interest in learning more about it.
Myth and Mythology
Her literary genre is primarily non-fiction focusing on Hindu Mythology, particularly Sri Vaishnavism which she attempts to relate with today’s technology driven world. She began her writing career by penning short articles into magazines and blogs with relevance to Sri Vaishnavism. Over the years, she developed suitable audience who liked her work, this inspired her with the idea of writing books. Her book “Jaya Vijaya Bharatha” is a compilation of carefully selected characters from the Puranas. She has kept the language simple with lucid narration and thoughtful analysis. She also has several other books in her pipeline.
Education
On an academic front, she completed her MBBS degree from Bangalore and pursued her MD in Pathology from Mangalore. She has published numerous Academic articles in National and International journals.
She takes her passion and profession very seriously giving both primary importance. She wishes to carry both profession and passion towards excellence.
